Mold doesn't wait, and neither should you. Our patented VaPURE process destroys mold throughout your home—usually in a single day.
A collection of our customer reviews and experiences from our Google Business Profile.
You've found mold in your house and you want it gone. Maybe it's showing up on a wall or across a ceiling. Maybe you just smell it and can't figure out where it's coming from. Either way, it's not a bleach-and-a-sponge situation. Bleach hits the surface and stops there. It doesn't reach the roots growing into your drywall or framing, and it does nothing for the spores already moving through your air. Real remediation deals with the whole thing, not the part you happen to be looking at.
If you can see more than a few square feet of growth, call somebody. But visible mold is just the obvious case.
A musty smell that won't quit, especially in a bathroom, a basement, or right around your HVAC vents, usually means something is growing where you can't see it. Same goes for headaches or allergy symptoms that clear up as soon as you leave the house for a weekend. And if you've already had a test come back with high spore counts, remediation is the next move.
Mapleton gets dry summers, which fools a lot of people into thinking mold isn't a Utah problem. It absolutely is. The moisture just comes from different places here. Winter snowmelt off the Wasatch soaks into foundations. Lawn irrigation running against the house all summer keeps soil wet where you can't see it. Tight, well insulated homes trap humidity from showers and cooking with nowhere for it to go, and then condensation forms on cold basement walls in January. Finished basements are the big one in this area. A slow leak behind a wall down there can go unnoticed for months.
If you suspect it, test for it. If it's confirmed, don't sit on it. Mold spreads, and the bill grows with it.
We start by inspecting, because we need to know where the mold is, how far it's gone, and what water is feeding it. That last part matters most. Kill the mold without fixing the moisture and you'll be calling somebody again in eight months.
After that we use Pure Maintenance's patented VaPURE technology. The first stage is an antimicrobial sterilant that we disperse as a dry fog, so it destroys mold on surfaces and in the air while getting into wall cavities, attic framing, carpet fibers, and HVAC ductwork. The second stage lays down a protective antimicrobial coating that bonds to surfaces around the house and keeps mold from taking hold again.
The active ingredient in our sterilant is on the EPA Safer Chemical Ingredients List. Your family and your pets can usually come back the same day. Most jobs wrap in under 12 hours, and in a lot of cases we skip demolition entirely.
Cost depends on how big the affected area is, how far the spores have traveled, and how complicated the moisture source turns out to be. No two houses are the same.
What we can tell you is that VaPURE almost always comes in under traditional remediation, because we're usually not tearing out walls and pulling up carpet. Traditional companies bill you twice: once to rip everything out, again to put it back. We give you a clear estimate before we start. No hidden fees, no surprises on the invoice.
We use technology most remediation companies can't get their hands on. VaPURE is patented, backed by research from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and approved by the National Organization of Remediators and Mold Inspectors.
Every job gets verified with independent post-treatment lab testing. We guarantee your indoor mold levels will come back lower than the outdoor levels, or we treat again at no charge.
We serve homes and businesses throughout Mapleton and the rest of Utah County. Call us at 385-685-3825 and let's get your house back to normal.
